"Critics who treat adult as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up." - C.S. Lewis, Three Ways of Writing for Children (1952)

KIMBA VS. LION KING FINALLY DEBUNKED OFFICIALLY
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5B1mIfQuo4 The conspiracy is finally over! "Lion King" fans can finally breathe easily again without fear of future conversations being interrupted by whiny anime fanbrats who are salty about "Kimba" not being noticed by sempai as much. Adam Johnston of "YourMoviesucksDOTOrg" just ended this whole stupid 20 year old farce of an argument, once and for all!
Sonic Movie Sequel Guesswork (Spoilers)
(SPOILERS) (SPOILERS) (SPOILERS) (SPOILERS) (SPOILERS)
Things we know:
1. Robotnik is still alive and on the Mushroom Planet, but has the quill, which has regenerated its power
2. Tails has arrived on Earth from Sonic's planet for some reason.
So, my sequel theory:
It turn out that Robotnik ended up on Sonic's home world instead of Earth, where he's since built his machine empire, and WILL Be using animals as living batteries for his machines like in the games.
The reason he's able to use animals is because it will turn out every living creature on Sonic's home planet will also have a bit of that energy Sonic has immense amounts of, but
Salty Birds of Prey film trying to sabotage Sonic
So basically, salty BoP fans are trying to cancel the Sonic movie by claiming A PG-RATED FILM THAT HASN'T EVEN BEEN RELEASED YET has homophobic slurs and racist jokes.
Bet these are the same people who spent the entirety of last year harassing me about Captain Marvel and trying to force me to believe that Disney faked the box office numbers. Oh, yeah, I'm still talking about that.
Ever studied movie trends of past eras?
Looked over what was popular at the time and then took a look at what happened next, and suddenly realized how the next evolution could not have telegraphed itself and made its coming anymore obvious if it tried, and yet no one saw it coming?
I've been looking over how the market was already changing back in 2006-08 following the successes of "Lord of the Rings" and "Harry Potter" and a few other yearly examples. Going over that transitionary period, it's really obvious where the film industry was going at that point. The shared universe that updated yearly with at least two entries was an inevitability at that point. If Marvel Studios didn'

Well, it's C.S. Lewis. The man was one of the wisest of us... and one most worthy of Equestria's grace and love himself. (But then, my favorite work of his is The Great Divorce...) Of course he would be OK with bronying.
